We are gathering stories about this in order to put a spotlight on this incredibly important issue. We plan to collate these stories and present them to the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care so they can see how it is impacting at-risk Australians. Lived experience speaks to an issue in a way that raw numbers cannot.
It is simply unacceptable that Australians are contracting COVID while seeking treatment for other conditions.
